Engineering Culturally Intelligent AI for Global Road Safety

I design and evaluate smartphone-first AI systems that turn real-world mobility data into actionable, culturally resonant safety feedback. My current work focuses on Nigeria, where limited infrastructure, sparse datasets, and local driving norms demand solutions that are robust, data-driven, and behaviourally persuasive. Across research and software, I bridge mobile sensing, machine learning, and Natural Language Generation to translate raw trips into insights that can measurably reduce unsafe driving.
