Engineering Culturally Intelligent AI for Global Road Safety
I design and evaluate smartphone-first AI systems that turn real-world mobility data into actionable, culturally resonant safety feedback. My current work focuses on Nigeria, where limited infrastructure, sparse datasets, and local driving norms demand solutions that are robust, data-driven, and behaviourally persuasive. Across research and software, I bridge mobile sensing, machine learning, and Natural Language Generation to translate raw trips into insights that can measurably reduce unsafe driving.

"The solutions Africa needs lie within Africans. Our challenges demand our understanding, our innovation, and our resolve — following global standards, but shaped by local wisdom and delivered with the African touch.
